43-year-old Bobbi-Jo Westley, a 490-pound woman who boasts hips measuring in at eight feet, says that her hips have made her a “hit” when it comes to men and that they have made her a sort of celebrity within the Super Size Big Beautiful Women modeling community. “I’m very confident and it’s my body so if I want to show the world me naked or in a bra nad panties that’s what I choose to do” she explains, “I’m famous for my hips and for my butt. It’s the first thing that people notice.” No shit Bobbi-Jo, no shit – that’s like saying the first thing you noticed upon walking into a Trump rally was all the white trash and camouflage, not the informed political discourse taking place. And while Bobbi-Jo says she has always been “slightly bigger,” her weight gain became more dramatic after each pregnancy and the onset of an under-active thyroid. Not that she’s complaining – according to Mirror , Bobbi-Jo makes a living off of her “bigger” figure:
Now Bobbi makes $2,000 a month from her webcam sessions and modelling work under her stage-name – the Ultimate Pear.
She receives 40-50 Facebook messages a day from men requesting explicit pictures and webcam sessions – which can last from anything from a few minutes to an hour.
Bobbi said: “People often think it is fake and that I have had surgeries. But I’m definitely 100 per cent real. There is nothing fake about these curves.
“I get 40-50 messages a day from men asking if they can marry me or have a baby with me. They really like my confidence.
“I’ve had men who I never thought would want me but have tried to pull me.
“They come from all over the world – the UK, Australia, India, Unites States – it’s hard to keep track.”(via)
Bobbi-Jo’s size isn’t all fun and games, however, as she laments that people make fun of her weight. “Some people mock me and my size but I don’t pay any attention to negativity…I don’t care what others think about me or what others say about me. I am confident in my skin – it’s who I am” she says, “my hips and my butt is what makes me.” That’s not to say there aren’t any pitfalls of being as big as Bobbi-Jo – she concedes that “obviously it’s not healthy for me to have this body frame” and that “it scares me sometimes because I do have asthma and when I walk, I do gasp for air”:
Bobbi also has problems getting around and fitting into regular-sized chairs.
She has to shuffle sideways through supermarket aisles and is too large to fit comfortably in the bath.
Bobbi said: “I would like to run and play with my kids like being in a swimming pool and being able to get out without help.
“I’d like to be able to actually sit in a bathtub and relax.”(via)
Despite the restrictions her weight puts on her, Bobbi-Jo says that she just takes it “one day at a time and I live life.”
